As part of Solent Academies Trust, Mary Rose Academy, is an ‘Outstanding Specialist Sports College’ for pupils aged 2-19 years, with severe, complex and profound learning difficulties and additional needs, including pupils with profound Autism, physical disabilities and complex medical needs.

We are seeking to appoint a talented, dynamic and forward-thinking Assistant Principal for our exceptional school. As an organisation, we are committed to relational practice and sincerely value, and work closely alongside, every member of our community; our future Assistant Principal will be wholeheartedly aligned to this approach. To ensure our continued success, you will be enthusiastic about challenge, have high expectations, lots of energy and committed to working with children with complex learning difficulties, to ensure they achieve their very best, now and for their future. 

We are looking for an experienced leader who is an exceptional practitioner with a proven track record of securing excellent, personalised, outcomes for pupils. The successful candidate will have the highest standards of themselves and display an authenticity that builds trust and maintains excellent relationships with others. The unique nature of working at Mary Rose Academy means the successful candidate will need to be highly flexible and will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same!
