Holy Cross College is seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal (Quality) to commence 21st August 2024.

You will join us on a permanent basis with a salary on the Leadership Spine at points 8 - 10: £64,933 - £68,089 per annum, plus excellent benefits! 

You will join a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) which consists of the Principal, Deputy Principal, Vice Principal (Finance and Resources) and Assistant Principals.  

This role is to provide leadership for all aspects of Quality in the College, ensuring outstanding standards in the Quality of Education with a clear focus on a high-quality experience for all students, as outlined in the job description. 

One of the key responsibilities is leading the overall management of Quality Assurance and Improvement across the College and to take overall responsibility for the College’s strategies in these areas.

The College’s staffing structure and quality cycle ensure effective curriculum implementation with accountability and transparency built in at all levels. Subjects are grouped together into eleven curriculum clusters, which are led by Curriculum Leaders, supported by Assistant Curriculum Leaders. Subject Leads are in place in a small number of subjects. Curriculum Leaders and Subject Leads, report directly to the Assistant Principals, who report in turn to the Deputy Principal and Principal.

Quality of Education is closely scrutinised through an integrated cycle of quality processes. The review of Quality of Education is undertaken through LTA Reviews, the regular reassessment of QIPs, Professional Development Reviews, Progress & Improvement Meetings at course milestones, and Learning Visits, all of which triangulate information.
