At the heart of Academy Transformation Trust, Phoenix Academy supports primary age pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health issues. Our Thematic Curriculum introduces a new topic every half term and stimulates a real love of learning, and we are passionate about Every Child Matters agenda – so we’re giving vulnerable children everything they need to become happy, stable and productive citizens.

We are seeking an innovative, collaborative and inspirational Assistant Principal who has proven SEN experience, a passion for safeguarding and a deep commitment to releasing the potential of our children.

You will be a skilled SENCo practitioner, ideally with experience within an SEMH school, with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs. You will have the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies whilst actively developing parents as partners and championing the best interests of the child.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will be delegated specific areas of responsibility which you will lead with passion, creativity and strategic direction in order to engage our children and transform their futures.
