Job overview

We are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal to lead the Service Industries Faculty, comprising the schools of Animal Welfare, Business, Management and Professional, Education and Childcare, Health and Science, Public Services and Sport. 


With strong ambition for its further and higher education learners, the Faculty has a proven track record of high-quality teaching and learning, and excellent outcomes for learners. The successful applicant will build upon this firm foundation and lead the faculty to Outstanding. 


As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the successful applicant will take a cross-college strategic lead on study programmes, work experience and industry placements, and build a new A-Level provision in selected subject areas.


The successful applicant will be an outstanding leader and communicator who sets high standards and expectations and is able to engage and motivate staff at all levels to maximise learner experience and outcomes. You should have a proven track record as a leader in Further Education with substantial experience of managing curriculum and a passion for Teaching and Learning.
