Taking the lead role in the Music department, you will work alongside your colleagues to inspire and provide the very best learning outcomes for our students. With your ability to teach music, drama and theatre studies to GCSE and A level, you will lead by example, be creative and innovative, and provide motivation to our students and your team.
We are a specialist Performing Arts school with excellent facilities, including a professionally equipped and managed theatre and purpose-built recording studio. Working closely with the Head of Performing Arts, you will run departmental, staff and training sessions and ensure all aspects of the Departmental Development Plan are delivered. You will be a facilitator of people at all levels and will develop strategies and initiatives that have longevity, relevance and meaning throughout the whole school.

Homewood School is part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust, working in collaboration with local primary schools serving the beautiful Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. All teaching staff are provided with an IT device and there is a nursery based on the school site which offers discounts to Homewood Staff.
