Job overview
Following the appointment of the current post holder to headship, Dollar Academy, one of Scotland’s leading independent day and boarding schools, is looking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Rector to join our senior management team.
This role will have overall responsibility for the leadership and development of Professional Learning throughout the whole school, the management of school data and the administration of SQA, JCQ and other public and internal examinations.
This post will offer an exciting leadership opportunity to an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a passionate interest in academic leadership and management. There is an expectation of involvement in the all-through planning and leadership of the school and candidates applying should have a strong teaching portfolio, together with relevant management experience.
The post might suit a candidate with either Head of Department/Head of Year experience, or a current senior management team member of another school.
