40 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum (term time plus four weeks)
We are looking to recruit a new member of the Admissions team following the School’s announcement to move to co-education from September 2021. This is a newly created role due to increased demand from prospective parents and comes at a very exciting time for the School. The Admission’s Department at John Lyon plays a crucial part in the successful running of the School, it delivers an excellent service to both the prospective parents of the School as well as our academic departments.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively in a dynamic and vibrant open plan environment and possess excellent organisational skills. Attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure are essential, as is the ability to communicate and deal confidently with a wide range of people and situations. The post holder will have some knowledge of admissions processes, be able to act on their own initiative to problem-solve, and possess outstanding interpersonal skills to enable collaborative working in a high performing team environment.
