Brooksby Melton College is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, spread across two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby.

The College received a “Good” Ofsted judgement in 2016 and our objective is to be judged an “Outstanding” College within the next five years. As part of this journey, both our campuses have undergone a £27m redevelopment, bringing new facilities and improved environments for all our students and staff.

The college has seen significant investment in practical and teaching facilities within our departments benefitting from brand new state of the art facilities.  We are proud of the fact that our student achievement is the highest in the East Midlands for 16-18 year olds studying level 3 provision.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two residential wardens to be based at our Brooksby Campus

The successful applicants will ensure the College is compliant with CQC / regulatory requirements and that all service development targets are met, being responsible for the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of student care and engagement.

Post holders will ensure that welfare/pastoral support meets appropriate residential care standards, establishing effective dialogue with residential students through systems for consultation, representation and complaints and organise social events and other enrichment activities for residential students.

This role is annualised hours, therefore the pattern of hours to be worked will vary throughout the year, however a schedule will be provided. It is a requirement of the post to live on site in College Accommodation ensuring emergency cover is in place at all times when students are in residence
