An exciting opportunity has arisen to join University College Birmingham’s Disability and Neurodiversity Support team as an Assistant SENCo. You will be joining a highly experienced team at an exciting time in UCB’s development, which has seen the opening of several first-class teaching/ study environments.


 As a key part of the Learning Services Directorate, you will work alongside our FE and EHCP Support Coordinator (SENCo) to ensure a high quality of support provision for FE and 6th Form students, and relevant apprentices, who have SEN/a disability (including those with Education Health and Care Plans).


The successful candidate will have experience of working to the OFSTED EIF along with experience of EHCP processes, supporting students who have SEN/ a disability in an educational setting, and have excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
