Job overview

To support and drive further improvements in the work of the SEND team we are looking for an Assistant SENCO to support the SENCO, drive the ASDAN programme, and programmes of support in learning for groups within the wider school community. We want to develop the outstanding work of our SEND team, to ensure that our provision is the very best it can be.

The post-holder will work with the SENCO to help to provide strategic leadership of the provision for all SEND students, to ensure that these children are supported in their learning and make excellent progress.

We would ideally like the new post holder to undertake the SENCO qualification if this is not already held. Applicants must have UK Qualified Teacher Status.
