Assistant Subject Leader (Maths) Key Stage 5 – TLR 2b
Prime Purpose: To share in the leadership of the subject, taking designated responsibilities agreed with the subject leader.
Responsible to: Subject Leader (Maths).
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Co-ordination of the writing and updating of Schemes of Work for courses within Key Stage 5.
Co-ordination of the writing, reviewing and updating of assessment material used at Key Stage 5.
Performance management of allocated staff.
In co-ordination with subject leader, the introduction of new courses.
Regular review of the suitability of the resources used at Key Stage 5.
The Assistant Subject Leader will be accountable for:
The quality of work within Key Stage 5.
The effective line management of designated staff.
Ensuring that Schemes of Work at Key Stage 5 are of a high quality.
The quality of assessment material at Key Stage 5.
Any other duties to support the Subject Lead
