Assistant Teacher

Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced Music Specialist to join an outstanding independent pre-preparatory school located in West Hampstead from September 2016. This full time position will include leading music lessons and working as an assistant teacher throughout the school.

• Role will include leading music lessons and also working as an assistant teacher across the school
• Contract post from September 2016 with the possibility to go onto a permanent contract
• £17,000 - £20,000 per annum

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Music specialist – ability to play piano or guitar would be beneficial
• Teaching Assistant qualification would be ideal
• Experience leading music classes
• Experience working with young children
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
