We require a highly motivated person with effective practical, administrative, organisational and communication skills to:
- in the majority: support the two Science Technicians, in order to ensure equipment provision for Science lessons and maintain the equipment and facilities of the department;
- but also to: provide some whole-school administrative and reprographic support;
- and: undertake a small amount of break time and lunch time supervision of public areas each week and help with invigilation of external exams in May/June each year.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, flexible and have a desire to work in a busy department supporting the Science Technicians and contributing to the aims and objectives of the school. For all aspects of the role, training will be provided and previous experience, while advantageous, is not required.
