We are looking to appoint an Assistant to the Director of Sixth Form (Academic) to join our highly committed and experienced Sixth Form team to take a lead role in the oversight and guidance of students in achieving their academic aspirations. This would include playing a lead role in managing their applications to higher education and wider post school opportunities including the reference and personal statement process; organising the programme for selection interview preparation process, entrance examinations etc; supporting students with the university access programme and working closely with the SENCo, liaising with Heads of Department and teachers to ensure all SEN students have appropriate academic support in place. The role will be wide-ranging including supervision of independent study, academic and study skills mentoring, supporting assemblies and sixth form academic and careers events.
