The King’s Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified professional to the new post of Assistant Vice Principal (Academic). Having energy, integrity and a strong principled commitment to our vision and Christian ethos, you will also be a gifted teacher, an inspirational leader and have the expertise to make a rapid impact. With a track record of achieving excellence, you will also be an outstanding classroom practitioner in your specialist subject.

The post of Assistant Vice Principal (Academic) will present the appointee with the opportunity to lead change and to improve standards at a whole-academy level. As well as joining a highly professional academic team, the appointee will have whole-academy responsibilities as a member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT). 

This is an ideal post for a highly able, numerate teacher with a calling to work with an exceptional team that is collectively committed to life-changing transformation of our students. It is also a superb opportunity for professional development that would lead naturally to a deputy head / vice principal post in a large school.
