The Role: Associate Assistant Headteacher for Maths

 

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our senior leadership team as the Associate Assistant Headteacher for Maths. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership for our maths department, contributing to whole-school development initiatives and spearheading our whole-school numeracy strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Maths team
  • Play an integral role in our Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school development
  • Lead the implementation of a whole-school numeracy strategy

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and management in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of current developments in maths education
  • Ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience in leading whole-school initiatives
  • Passion for raising attainment and improving outcomes for all students
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

 

Salary: Leadership 8 – 11 - £59,167 - £63,815
