Exciting Opportunity: Associate Assistant Principal – Leading on enrichment and character formation. Are you passionate about providing an outstanding education within a nurturing and inclusive environment? We are seeking a dedicated Associate Assistant Principal to join our team at Avanti Fields, working closely with the Principal and Senior Team to uphold our ethos of educational excellence, character development, and spiritual insight.

As a key leader, you will oversee all aspects of school leadership and management, ensuring inclusive learning and teaching practices while supporting our enriching curriculum aligned with national standards. Your role will involve fostering an environment where students can explore diverse activities and experiences to develop their character, while also leading and inspiring a team of middle leaders towards innovative teaching strategies and professional growth. Join us in fulfilling our school's vision and making a difference in the lives of our students.

Interviews for this role will take place on Wednesday 17th April.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.

What will you do?

• Assist the Principal in establishing a vision for the school and maintaining high expectations.

• Take part in senior management responsibilities such as supervision, planning, and policy development.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to set school objectives and improve student achievement.

• Lead by example to uphold teaching standards and foster a positive learning environment.

• Engage with parents, carers, and the community to enhance school involvement and support.

• Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant subject or allied subject

• The ability to lead, model and manage positive behaviour, good order and assertive discipline in the school
