Job overview

We know the key to our success is ensuring that we recruit the highest quality staff, and we are delighted to be expanding our team with the inclusion of an Associate Director of Art and Technology.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who wants to take the next career step towards leading improvements in the teaching of their subject across the Trust. The role will involve playing a critical role in continuing to build the Trust’s quality of teaching and learning, supporting improvement across the two secondary schools currently in the Trust. The Trust is intent on expanding the number of academies it oversees, and this is an opportunity to be at the forefront of building the future.

You will want to have a relentless focus on ensuring that our students receive the very best experience in teaching and learning in the classroom so that each one of them can achieve the outcomes their potential predicts is possible.

As part of the wider Trust team, you will enhance the work of school Subject Directors and staff in raising outcomes through improvements to the quality of teaching and learning. You will have the drive and determination to collaborate successfully in creating a culture of high expectations that raise standards.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with the ability to work as part of a team and drive and implement a shared vision focused on improving teaching and learning.

In return, we will offer:

  • Salary sacrifice schemes, such as childcare vouchers and a cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Access to on-site gym facilities.
  • Fantastically resourced schools with easy commuting access to both the A1 and A19.
