The Faculty of English, Languages and IB is dedicated to providing high quality teaching and learning experiences across a range of A level courses including Modern Foreign Languages, English Literature, English Language and Classical Civilisation. The Faculty also leads our very successful International Baccalaureate programme at the College. The progression, success rates and progress of our learners are excellent. We are committed to supporting learners to achieve to the very best of their ability and are eager to continue to develop our enthusiastic and highly motivated group of staff to support this remit. We have an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty as an Associate Lecturer delivering on our A level and IB German courses, and we are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire learners and support them to enjoy and achieve.
The ideal candidate will be able to deliver lessons which respond to learners’ needs and have a passion for motivating and supporting learners to maximise their potential. You will be a committed advocate of German, and the value of the subject to learners today. You will have the ability to work productively and efficiently as part of a team and independently, and will have the flexibility to work across both our IB and A level MFL provision. Working within the Faculty of English, Languages and IB, you will also need to have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and to be a strong communicator.
