An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and inspiring Associate Lecturer to join the Hairdressing and Barbering team within the faculty of Hospitality, Hair and Beauty. 

The faculty is based at the Laurence Building at Hele Road and provides a specialist learning environment in commercial salons which encourages our learners to thrive. Working with a highly successful and creative team you will have the opportunity to share ideas and skills with experienced colleagues.  We depend upon exceptional people to sustain our outstanding performance and therefore offer excellent conditions of employment and extensive professional development to all our staff.

 

To fulfil this role you should have significant and current experience in the hairdressing and barbering industry. You should have a passionate and pro-active approach in delivering teaching excellence in both skills and knowledge across these disciplines with exceptional cutting and styling experience.

You need to be committed with a positive and approachable attitude to ensure learners meet targets and are provided with a positive and value driven experience.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS.
