We are looking to recruit a part time Associate Lecturer to teach the Level 4 Senior Housing and Property Management Apprenticeship: https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/senior-housing-and-property-management-v1-3

The role is based in our Leadership and Management team within the faculty of Professional and Adult Learning. This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional team of experienced professionals who are committed to outstanding teaching and learning and proactive in working with employers and the local community to deliver this.

This interesting role involves designing, planning and delivering the curriculum for the Senior Housing and Property Management Apprenticeship and preparing apprentices for their End Point Assessment. The role is based at the Future Skills Centre near Exeter airport.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in Senior Housing and Property Management and are familiar with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 4 Certificate in Housing; relevant industry experience is essential. This role presents an opportunity for candidates who are looking to utilise their skills, knowledge, and passion to train others. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning and confident at working independently and with a team to achieve the best outcomes for our apprentices.

We have an excellent pension scheme (Teachers' Pension Scheme) and regular training and CPD opportunities. All new staff receive mentoring from an experienced member of the team. New staff who need to undertake teaching and assessing qualifications to upskill will do this as part of their development. All staff have access to regular training and development through cross college designated staff development days.
