We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and creative Aspiring Subject Leader Maths. The post would be suitable for a teacher who would like to step up to middle leadership, seeking to develop their leadership skills and expertise in a well-resourced Maths Faculty. Experience of teaching KS4 Maths and KS5 Maths would be distinctly advantageous.
This is an excellent career opportunity for a colleague who is passionate about the entitlement of young people to a Maths curriculum that teaches the best powerful knowledge defined by the subject community. You will be part of a team leading on curriculum design and implementation for a particular Key Stage, working under dynamic and supportive management to do so. Alongside this, you will coach staff on pedagogical practice as part of the school’s commitment to staff development. The team is committed to build on its history of success, to continue to raise attainment and enhance provision.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has a calm, professional and approachable manner to support the raising of attainment of a core group of students at a particular Key Stage
- Will help dynamically lead an inspiring, innovative and caring team
- Is proactive and has exceptional classroom skills
