Our Inclusion and Intervention Team work closely with students, parents/carers, teachers and outside agencies to ensure that all students can fully participate and make the most of every opportunity that is presented to them. Waingels is proud to offer students fantastic EAL support within lessons, additional through after school interventions and a designated fully equipped EAL room. We strongly believe that alongside educational excellence, it is vital that we equip every student with the skills needed to achieve the most out of life and to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

As a Teacher and coordinator for EAL at Waingels you will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of the inclusion team to help support our students in achieving their learning goals. The EAL teacher would be expected to complete assessments of students, plan and deliver intervention sessions for small groups or 1:1, liaise with classroom teachers to share strategies and track and monitor student progress.
