William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country’s first 16-19 comprehensive school. We offer 850 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level. WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community which has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.
We are looking for a flexible, organised person with relevant experience to join our friendly, hardworking team of support staff to take responsibility for accurately recording, monitoring and reporting on student attendance and punctuality.
You will use school systems to monitor the registration system for accuracy, notify staff of missing information and maintain and administer systems designed to ensure students are punctual. You will contact students and/or parents who have unauthorised absences and facilitate home/school communications regarding attendance and punctuality both by telephone and written communication.
You will have experience of working in an attendance role, preferably in a similar environment together with excellent numerical skills and the ability to understand, analyse and interpret data. Experience in using SIMS is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, including the ability to make objective recommendations and communicate with a range of people including staff, students and parents/carers in a calm and professional manner together with the ability to self-manage.

Closing date: 10.00am on Tuesday, 3rd March 2020.
Interviews will be held the following week.
