Job overview

You will work closely with Heads of Year and senior leaders, supporting with daily attendance monitoring, first day calls, and pastoral administration. You will also play a key role in maintaining and updating student records in our MIS and other platforms, ensuring that the information we hold is both reliable and well managed.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • To support Heads of Year ('HoYs') in monitoring and reporting on attendance and punctuality for KS3 & KS4.
  • To maintain student records in SIMS for KS3 & KS4.
  • To support the SLT and Heads of Year on pastoral matters.

Wallington High School for Girls is a secondary grammar school with a sixth form located in Sutton, Greater London. Since September 2015, Wallington High School for Girls has been part of the Nonsuch and Wallington Education Trust.

Wallington High School for Girls has established transport links and is accessible via the nearby Wallington rail station. The school is twinned with Wallington County Grammar School for Boys, located 1.5 miles away. Wallington High was founded in 1888. A time capsule was buried in the grounds in a 125th anniversary celebration in 2013.

Pupils respect each other and treat their peers in a friendly and courteous manner. In lessons they are focused and collaborative. They are proud of the friendly atmosphere between them and say that they ‘build each other up’ to celebrate successes. The school has high ambitions for its pupils, and staff go out of their way to ensure that pupils are able to reach these. The result is a vibrant and diverse community where pupils are proud to be hard working."
