At Tuxford Academy, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Attendance and Educational Welfare Officer who will oversee and monitor the attendance and punctuality of all students, making a major contribution to strong examination results being achieved throughout the Academy.

You will need to:    

  •  Improve standards of achievement by providing individualised support and care.
  •  Pastoral and administrative activities to support students welfare and wellbeing
  • To be professionally responsible and accountable for the assessment of educational needs and to assist in the planning and evaluation of the service to meet targets to reduce absence and increase attendance and achievement in the Academy.
  • Confident with behaviour management skills, experience with SEMH needs   
  • Contribute to students’ wider development within the academy
  • Committed to professional development
