Attendance Improvement Coordinator

Salary: TSAT Pay Group 4 £23,105 - £27,104 for hours and weeks stated (FTE £25,743 - £30,198) 

Hours per week: Full time 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (Term Time plus 4 weeks)


We have an exciting new vacancy for an Attendance Improvement Coordinator to support our team at The Goodwin Academy.  The successful candidate will be expected to work with school, trust staff and parent/carers to improve and maintain attendance and punctuality. They will liaise with the Attendance Advisory Service, completing referrals as necessary, as well as submitting Persistent Absence data to the Local Authority. They will refer Children Missing Education in line with statutory guidance, undertaking home visits as required.

The successful candidate will organise casual admissions to the school as well as supporting other school admissions processes. There will also be the need to attend meetings and assemblies to promote and celebrate regular attendance.
