Job overview

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Attendance Manager, ideally with experience, to devise and implement strategies to achieve and maintain excellent levels of attendance and punctuality. The post involves monitoring student absence and punctuality, and working with students and families to ensure barriers to good attendance are tackled. 

In addition to possessing excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, candidates must be able to analyse data and produce reports. You must be able to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and show initiative. You must also be a team player and demonstrate a professional approach in dealing with students, staff and parents.

About The Elmgreen School

The Elmgreen School is a unique 11-18 secondary school. It is a non denominational mixed school which opened to its first cohort of year 7 students in September 2007.   The secondary Hearing Impaired Unit is co-located within the school. We will reach our full complement of 1100 students in 2014 which will include a 200 place sixth form. The school moved to its inspirational new building in September 2009.

The school is non selective and provides a creative and innovative curriculum, encouraging the highest standards of teaching and learning within an ethos of mutual respect, harmony and achievement.
