Job overview
We are committed to ensuring that all students in our care achieve high levels of attendance, allowing students to achieve their full potential and be supported through any difficulties that they may be experiencing, both inside and outside of school.
The postholder will identify and target students with poor attendance / poor punctuality and who require further support. In this crucial role, the successful applicant will provide a confidential guidance, welfare and advice service ensuring that where there are concerns regarding a pupil’s wellbeing, the appropriate action is taken. This will involve working alongside students and their families, as well as colleagues in school and professionals from external agencies including our external attendance consultants.
