We are looking to appoint an exceptional and passionate Attendance Officer to play a key role in maintaining the academy’s outstanding attendance.  

The successful candidate will have previous experience and a good track record of working in a similar role, have good administration skills and have experience of working within an education environment.  The person for this job must want to “make a difference” and have high expectations, no excuses attitude and will be responsible for maintaining and improving our student attendance record, building positive relationships with students and their families.

About The Bishop of Winchester Academy

The Bishop of Winchester Academy, based in Bournemouth, Dorset, is a Church of England secondary school that prides itself on its curriculum, governance and outstanding student behaviour. Students aged 11-18 experience teaching in new state-of-the-art buildings and have first-class resources at their fingertips. The school operates in an area where there are schools that select for entry on grounds of ability.

The mixed secondary school was opened in September 2010 as a sponsor-led academy. In September 2014, the Bishop of Winchester Academy extended its educational opportunities by opening its own sixth form.
