We wish to appoint an Attendance Officer who is a highly organized, firm and effective person who will contribute towards raising the attendance of students who are persistently absent. If this applies to you then we would be interested in finding out more about you.
Duties will include; Reponsiblility for promoting excellent attendance and reducing absence throughout the whole school; Ongoing monitoring of attendance for students; Identify students who require support with their attendance; Liaise with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Year and Tutors, SENCo, Inclusion team and other relevant staff regarding students who are of concern; Raise attendance issues with parents; meet with both students and parents in order to support them to improve attendance.
