Attendance officer, College Administrator

Ashbourne is an outstanding Independent Sixth Form College in the heart of Kensington, London. We are seeking a new attendance officer/college administrator to work in our administration team and contribute to the smooth operations of the College.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible and organised individual who would like the opportunity to be an Attendance Officer, alongside being an essential member of the college administration team, who will also fulfil reception duties.

The successful applicant will be organised, hard-working, an effective communicator and will be able to use ICT efficiently. Duties will include monitoring student absence, following up absences with parents/agents, liaising with the Pastoral Team to secure good attendance.

With experience of working as an Attendance Officer or similar role, the successful candidate will promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture within the school.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable meeting and dealing with a wide variety of people, both in person and on the telephone, including students, parents, teachers and external agents.

The working hours for this post are: 8.30am to 6pm. Details of job will be discussed further at interview. 

Salary will be discussed at interview with a range of £22,500 - £25,000 dependent on previous experience.
