Smart Teachers is recruiting for a dedicated School Attendance Officer to join a “good” alternative provision in Ealing. The position is to start as soon as possible, but the school are happy to wait until January 2019 for the right person. This will become a permanent position for the right candidate.

  • School Attendance Officer
  • Home visits will be necessary 
  • Main objective will be to increase attendance across the school 
  • Using SIMS 
  • Full time 
  • Salary between £70 to £100 depending on experience 
  • Permanent contract on offer for the right candidate 
  • Parent liaison for the school 
  • Successful candidate must be happy to complete some outreach work, work with social workers etc.

In order to be considered for this role, the Attendance Officer will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience in a similar setting
  • Experience using SIMS 
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
