We are seeking to recruit an Attendance Officer to cover maternity leave on a 12 month fixed term contract.  This role will provide a specialist service within the wider pastoral team to support the Academy in meeting our obligations and targets in relation to student attendance including persistent absence.

The successful candidate will contribute to raising achievement through improving school attendance, liaise with the Headteacher and senior leaders to rapidly improve school attendance, deal with staff, students, parents and external agencies in relation to attendance, have the ability to accurately record, collate and analyse attendance data, have strong interpersonal skills to promote a positive attitude towards attendance and ensure parents are aware of their statutory responsibilities and to be able to meet with parents and students in relation to attendance.
