Job overview

We are currently seeking to appoint an Attendance, Punctuality and Family Support Officer to join our busy Administrative team.  

We are looking for a committed and motivated individual with experience of working with children and families, to support improvements in attendance across the school to assist pupils in achieving their full potential. 

You will need to possess excellent administrative, IT, communication and inter-personal skills and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the barriers to regular attendance and punctuality. The post will involve the operational management of all attendance and punctuality related matters related matters including monitoring and reporting and the regular mentoring of pupils. 

You will be required to work with The Headteacher, Progress Managers, Form Tutors and the school’s Education Social Worker, supporting the implementation and delivery of strategies to maximise school attendance and support and engage families in improving student attendance.
