AV Engineer –August 2026 Start

Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is seeking to appoint an experienced AV Engineer from August 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the school’s end-to-end Audio-Visual infrastructure, including auditorium systems, classroom AV, live streaming, and event production, ensuring seamless delivery of all academic and non-academic activities.

Requirements:

• Must have Diploma or Bachelor's degree in AV, Electronics, IT

• 5-8 years’ experience in Auditorium / Education / Events / AV Integration

• Strong verbal and written command of the English language.

• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Video Systems Management

  • Manage and operate:

    • LED Video Wall & Controllers

    • Projectors, large displays, and digital signage

  • Configure and troubleshoot:

    • AV-over-IP systems (Crestron NVX or similar)

  • Handle video routing, switching, and signal distribution

  Live Streaming & Production

  • Operate and manage:

    • Multi-camera setup (PTZ cameras)

    • Video switchers (e.g., Blackmagic ATEM)

    • Recording systems

  • Support:

    • Live streaming of assemblies, events, and performances

  Audio Systems

  • Manage:

    • Digital audio mixers (e.g., Behringer WING)

    • DSP systems (Biamp / Dante-based)

  • Handle:

    • Microphones (wireless, lapel, handheld, podium)

    • Sound tuning, EQ, and feedback control

   Control Systems (Crestron / Automation)

  • Operate and troubleshoot:

    • Crestron control systems

    • iPad-based control interfaces

  • Ensure smooth automation of AV workflows

   Lighting Systems

  • Operate:

    • Stage lighting systems (DMX-based)

    • Moving heads, Fresnel, profile lighting

  • Manage:

    • Lighting console and scene programming for events

   AV Network & Infrastructure

  • Work with IT team to manage:

    • AV over IP network

    • Switches, fiber, and structured cabling

  • Ensure connectivity and system uptime

   Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform:

    • Preventive and corrective maintenance

  • Diagnose and resolve:

    • Audio, video, lighting, and control issues

  • Coordinate with vendors for AMC and repairs

  Event & Academic Support

  • Provide AV support for:

    • Assemblies, exams, productions, parent events

  • Ensure:

    • All systems are tested before events

    • On-site support during live sessions

  Documentation & Inventory

  • Maintain:

    • AV asset inventory

    • System documentation and diagrams

  • Track equipment usage and service history
