We are seeking Bank Learning Mentors to join our team at Queenswood School.

Queenswood School is a specialist school for up to 50 girls and boys aged 11 to 19 with with social, emotional and mental health and/or a range of complex learning and communication difficulties. The school provides a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment for young people who are unable to attend mainstream education because of their additional learning needs.

This role is a bank role based on a zero hours contract.  It is desirable for applicants to hold experience in an education setting, possibly with experience of working with Autism, SEMH and complex challenging behaviours. It is necessary that all our staff are over 21 (to comply with the requirements of the National Minimum Standards) and have held a driving license for at least 3 years.

The successful candidate will join a very well established team of education, care and specialist therapy professionals working together to support student progress and will receive a bespoke induction package. Term time only working, school holidays and strong teamwork are all part of the package.

Queenswood comprises of the main school site, The HUB (located off site) and 6 nearby residential homes. Whilst we enjoy a rural location, we are still well connected, just two miles from Ledbury train station, on a main bus route from Ledbury to Hereford and with good links to the M50.
