We are looking for an enthusiastic person working within law, finance or education to join our dedicated governing body. We would also like to hear from employers within the creative sector and local residents who are interested in joining our team. We actively encourage Governors to challenge the status quo, think innovatively and provide creative solutions. We are a small governing body and drive effective change.
VOCATIONAL + CHARACTER EDUCATION = SUCCESS FOR LIFE
Big Creative Academy is a post-16 free school specialising in the creative industries. We believe that teaching skills employers want and empowering young people to think reflectively enables positive outcomes for students and our wider community. We have high expectations of our staff and students and want to be recognised as one of the leading providers of vocational programmes in the creative arts. It is a new and exciting project and we have big plans.
We’re different because of our ‘real world’ approach. Our teaching staff have their own record labels, fashion labels, are practising musicians and actors with buckets of industry experience to pass onto our young people. Learners understand the resilience it takes to succeed and the relationships you have to build. Please have a look at our website bigcreative.education
