Holy Family Early Learning Centre offers a quality preschool education including before and after school care, catering for children in the year prior to primary school. The curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework which recognises the importance of communication and language (including literacy and numeracy), and social and emotional development. Programs include play experiences, intentional teaching and enquiry based learning opportunities. Holy Family ELC offers a faith and values based education which focuses on the well-being of each individual child. This focus is achieved through explicit teaching of social emotional learning in a caring and supportive environment. Our early learning values its community-oriented approach to student well being and family life.
We are seeking a diploma trained professional to join our energetic and enthusiastic team at Holy Family. This position involves working closely with our COOSH Director using confidence and skills to assist in the planning and delivery of high-quality programs. Supervision and mentoring of educators is an essential responsibility. Essential qualifications include Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care or School Age Education & Care (or equivalent – as assessed by ACECQA) and First Aid Certificate.
This is a part-time temporary (0.79FTE) position commencing ASAP to 19 December 2019. Further information regarding this position can be found inside the Applicant Information Pack.
