Job overview

Holy Spirit Early Learning Centre is the second regional Catholic Early Learning Centre for families in the Gungahlin area. It offers a quality preschool education for four-year-olds, catering for children in the year prior to school. The Centre also provides childcare for children before and after preschool hours, opening from 7.30am to 6.00pm. The program is innovative and play-based, catering for the interests of all the children with the curriculum being based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

We are now looking for a Before School Care & Preschool Educator to join our inclusive and welcoming community. The successful applicant will develop, implement and evaluate daily routines, communicating openly with the team. You will also engage and communicate with the children in a positive manner, ensuring individual attention and comfort as required.

Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims of Catholic Education.

Please note that this is a part-time temporary position commencing 20 July to 18 December 2020. A pro-rata salary amount will be paid for part-time appointments.This position is temporary in nature as it is dependent on a specific programme which is not of an ongoing nature.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
