This post is: 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (Term Time only)

The Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to support the development of children’s behaviour across the school. The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting children to regulate and understand their emotions. Through responding to situations that arise, empathy and a trauma perceptive approach will be taken with children.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- To support children with challenging behaviour.
- To work as part of the pastoral team to ensure children’s needs are met so they are ready to learn.
- To ensure that all policies implemented by the school are actively upheld and promoted at all times.
- To build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with pupils, families, multi-agencies, professionals and colleagues, to maximise pupils’. development and maintain the overall ethos and vision of the school.
- To show resilience and flexibility when faced with challenging situations.

We're looking for you if you have:
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above
- Experience of working with a range of children in a school setting
- Ability to interact positively with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Ability to support children with challenging behaviour.
