Abbeyfield School is an exciting place to work; we became an academy with Creative Education Trust in October 2012. This is a school of 1300 students between the ages of 11 and 19. We employ over 140 staff; this includes teaching, support and administration staff. Abbeyfield School is a good school (Ofsted May 2016) with a desire to become outstanding.
We are looking to appoint a Behaviour for Learning Support worker to join our dedicated behaviour team. The ideal applicant will be adaptable and proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others with confidence. The successful candidate will support the school in the supervision and welfare of students, particularly supporting those who have been identified as requiring additional support due to emotional, behavioural and social inclusion difficulties. Previous experience in a similar role with an understanding of the restorative process would be preferable.
For more information and to apply, please download an application form from the Abbeyfield School website www.abbeyfieldschool.org.uk. Completed applications should be returned by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to the main school address for the attention of HR.
Abbeyfield School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check,
references and other checks.
