Location:    Ormiston Horizon Academy, Turnhurst Road, Stoke on Trent ST6 6JZ

Salary:          Grade 5, points 15-19 (£25,878 to £27,852 pro rata)

                   - (actual starting salary at point 15 - £22,159)

Status:          Term time only + 5 days (39 weeks per year)

Hours:            37 hours per week; permanent contract

Reports to:    Behaviour Inclusion Supervisor

We have an exciting pastoral opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our existing pastoral team, to assist in the supervision of our inclusion rooms. The role will involve supporting the continued progress in learning for pupils who are based for a period of time away from their main timetabled lessons.

Variation Clause

This job description will be reviewed and updated periodically in order to ensure that it relates to the job performed, or to incorporate any proposed changes. This procedure will be conducted by the Principal/Manager in consultation with the postholder. In these circumstances it will be the aim to reach agreement on reasonable changes, but if agreement is not possible management reserves the right to make changes to the job description following consultation.

Fluency in English

The post is covered by Part 7 of the immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
