The Role
Queen Katharine Academy are looking to appoint a Behaviour Intervention Manager, to work with students who are at risk of repeated fixed term exclusions or permanent exclusions. The successful candidate will lead on the development and implementation of resources, strategies, and pedagogy to work with students with SEMH needs in accessing the wider school curriculum via the Academy’s Learning Gateway.
The successful candidate will take a leading role in managing and delivering specialist learning support to both individuals and groups with additional needs who would benefit from a different, more tailored learning approach.

Queen Katharine Academy (QKA) is a member of the Cambridgeshire-based Thomas Deacon Education Trust and opened in September 2017. QKA is a larger-than-average, age 11 to 19 school in north Peterborough with approximately 1,700 pupils on roll, including 350 in the sixth form.
