You will also be responsible for implementing intervention strategies to improve attendance and truancy issues, as well as creating and implementing behaviour plans and monitoring their success.
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
At Maltings Academy we are committed to deliver a sustained and excellent all round education and believe every student, regardless of starting point, has the right to the highest standard of education so that they can achieve their aspirations. Our aim is to give every student a holistic educational experience that is enjoyable and supportive to help develop them into responsible, articulate, successful and altruistic young people.
The balanced mix of traditional values of strong discipline, good manners, respect and pride in appearance coupled with contemporary practice in teaching and technology through Google Suite sit at our core. With these core principles, we develop our students individually into the proficient and assured individuals that have the will and determination to excel academically and personally now and in their future lives.
Students are rightly rewarded for developing positive behaviours and attitudes, for their effort and being resilient, for a courteous and considerate manner, for attending regularly and for achieving their personal best. They are taught the value of hard work and determination as an important life skill.
