Educational Diversity has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join us as a Behaviour Manager supporting children and their families to access learning and education. The person should be enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible, with the ability to work as part a team or independently.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can work with staff to produce and implement whole school plans, initiatives and strategies to improve pupil behaviour
- Is able to support complex and sensitive situations, providing advice and support when a young person is in need.
- Is responsible for the supervision of pupils to provide advice, motivation and support on behaviour and welfare issues
- Ensures confidentiality and adheres to our safeguarding procedures.
- Demonstrate own duties to new or less experienced staff
- Support pupils to self regulate with their emotional, behavioural and social, and/or medical needs.
- Builds positive relationships with all young people within Educational Diversity and has positive regard for them
- Can establish and maintain relationships with families, carers and other professionals, ensuring young people have wrap around support with an appropriate multi-agency approach
