37 hours/week, term time only

Band 7, Scale 31-35, £18,109 to £19,990 pa (pro rata)

Temporary for 1 Year

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, suitably qualified, dynamic and inspirational professional to provide personal, social, learning support and guidance to individuals and groups of pupils and those engaged with them, and to contribute to identifying and removing   barriers to learning both inside and outside the school, in order to achieve their full potential. Working with Guidance Teams, deliver the provision of pastoral care within the school. 

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils, an excellent   communicator, have good attention to detail and be able to prioritise their workload. They must be computer literate and have previous office experience. 

Colonel Frank Seely Academy is working in partnership with The Redhill Academy Trust.   The Academy is also a member of Redhill Teaching School Alliance and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and the chance to work alongside other high performing schools in the region. Colonel Frank Seely became an academy, sponsored by The Redhill Academy Trust, on 1 October 2017.

Colonel Frank Seely Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 secondary school with sixth form, situated in Calverton, Nottingham. There are 998 students on the school roll, 101 of whom are in the sixth form. 

The school was opened in 1957 in memory of Colonel Frank Seely, who was widely known for his philanthropic work in Nottinghamshire through convalescent homes and Nottinghamshire Social Services. The school holds several awards in recognition of its work, including Investors in People and Green Flag Eco-school.

Colonel Frank Seely Academy is working in partnership with The Redhill Academy Trust.  The Academy is also a member of Redhill Teaching School Alliance and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and the chance to work alongside other high performing schools in the region.  Colonely Frank Seely became an academy, sponsored by The Redhill Academy Trust, on 1 October 2017.
