We are seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Officer/School Counsellor to work collaboratively with our teaching and pastoral staff. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the future of our young people assisting them to reach their full potential. The role involves the planning and delivery of intervention programmes on a 1:1 or small group basis to pupils whose behaviour is a cause for concern and providing support to identified pupils requiring counselling. 

If you are keen to make a difference to the lives of young people, have excellent interpersonnel and communication skills, are able to demonstrate empathy, gain respect and trust of pupils through a manner of confidence and authority we would love to hear from you.

This post could be undertaken as a job share with one post as Behaviour Support Officer and the other as School Counsellor.  Hours and salary would be amended to accommodate this. Please indicate on your application if you are interested in a full time post or job share.
