Hours: 37 hours per week, Term time only , 1 year fixed term contract
The main purpose of this role is to support positive student conduct across the school through the effective implementation of behaviour systems. The Behaviour Support Worker will actively supervise students during lesson transitions, break times, and lunch periods, helping to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment. The role will also support the work of the pastoral team in managing behaviour and student welfare, providing timely assistance to students throughout the school day. In addition, you will assist with the supervision of after-school detentions for groups of students.
You will need to possess the ability to build positive and professional relationships with students, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, remain calm and resilient when managing challenging situations, and work collaboratively with staff to promote high standards of behaviour and engagement across the school.
