Behaviour Support Worker Outreach

Hours: 22 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 INSET days.

We are currently looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to strengthen our team. We want to appoint resilient and outgoing individuals to join our fun and lively team. You will be based at our main site supporting staff and secondary students, this is a challenging but very rewarding role supporting some of the most vulnerable pupils in Reading. The ability to make the role your own and build strong relationships is essential. 

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level grade C or equivalent in Math’s and English, or equivalent qualification or demonstrable competency. 

• Hold or willing to achieve: Counselling Qualification
• Hold Accredited training in Behavior Management
• Have some First Aid training
• HLTA status 

We are a multi-site organisation which includes our College Road Site – Primary and Cranbury Road Site – Secondary. The role is based across schools within the Reading area, supporting secondary aged students with their engagement to mainstream education. You will also have the opportunity to work with our Safe Team based at our Secondary site supporting staff and secondary students. 

Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
